Note: The derailleur compatibility specification indicates the derailleurs that share pull ratios with these shifters and will therefore shift correctly when used in conjunction. However, the number of speeds of the shifters and cassette must still match (e.g. 8-speed shifter must be used with an 8-speed cassette – though any derailleur from 6-9 speed could be used).
