Shimano SH-GF800 Flat Pedal Mountain Bike Shoes are tuned to minimize foot fatigue and protect a riders feet when taking on long and rugged descents. Cushioned and quick drying synthetic leather is used for the upper part of these shoes for durability and to offer protection against strikes from overhanging trail debris and obstacles, and a revised BOA retention system with a very unique lacing and eyelet design enables easy adjustments to the fit and security of the shoe across the entire length of the shoe. The sole features a reinforced shank plate and tacky, slow rebounding ULTREAD GF rubber that keeps the feet glued to the pedal surface and improve protection from harsh impacts. Last but not least, because there inevitably will be some walking off of the bike, these shoes have extra volume in the toe box for more mobility off of the bike but is still snug around the middle of the foot so your feet have the control and pedaling efficiency to maintain the fun throughout long days in the saddle.
