POC Cytal MIPS Helmet Description:

The POC Cytal MIPS Helmet utilizes cutting edge construction and modelling techniques to create a lightweight, well ventilated, and aerodynamic helmet. Much like the spoiler on a sports car, an integral wing support works to optimize the airflow for outstanding aerodynamic performance, and the underside of the wing works with massive entry and exit ports in the helmet to create a fast moving layer of air that will actively pull cooling air through the structure. A polycarbonate shell is molded to the interior foam to ensure a smoother exterior finish, and as a bonus the construction adds durability and structural stability to allow this helmet to better absorb and deflect impacts. Not to be overlooked, the EPS foam has been optimized to provide more impact absorption where it counts and less where appropriate to lighten the helmet, and a MIPS Air Node Impact Protection will reduce torsional stresses on the neck and head if an accident occurs. Finally, a highly adjustable retention system wraps all of the way round the head to create a better and more comfortable fit on the riders head, and easily adjustable straps make sure the rider can quickly dial everything so they can focus on enjoying their next ride.
