Finish Line Halo Hot Wax Lubricant Description:

The Finish Line Halo Hot Wax Lubricant is a hot wax system that will bring the best out of your bicycles drivetrain. The premium paraffin wax is infused with spherical tungsten and ceramic boron nitride platelets to reduce sliding friction, general wear and tear, and resist moisture accumulation. In addition, the wax sheds contaminants before they have a chance to adhere to the chain, which helps to prevent chain lube and road grime from getting on your leg or your clothing.

Infusing your chain with this special wax is as simple as opening the bag that contains the wax and either submerge the same bag into some gently boiling water or dump the pellets into a heated wax melting device. Then, take the included immersion tool, loop the cleaned chain onto the tool, and lower the chain into the melted wax. Next, lift the fully coated chain out of the wax, let the chain cool off and the wax to solidify, and finally install the chain on the bike. After installing chain on bike, it is not uncommon for excess wax to flake off as the chain moves. There is a protective residue that is left behind after all of the excess has flaked off. When all is said and done, get out and enjoy the smoothest and cleanest chain your bike has ever had.
